The Happiness Dare
Years ago the Peanuts cartoon caption read, “Happiness is a warm puppy.” The point of it is that some of life’s simple pleasures are the ones that bring us the most satisfaction.
If we are getting our happiness from having our favorite candidate win or from seeing world peace, we will be disappointed. Yet, when we get right down to it, the things that make us happy are not these “things”.
If you have been overdosing on politics, give yourself a break and listen to our show on how you can find happiness, peace and satisfaction with your life.
On our Home Front Show this week we interview Jennifer Dukes Lee, author of “The Happiness Dare“. On the show, she discusses using your gifts and your “happiness assessment”.
Jennifer shares with us from her personal experience what it takes to be satisfied regardless of the externals.

I am pleased to see you start this comment section as we all can learn from each other. I admit I am staunch in my Christian Faith (not a denomination) but I can also learn more of it in depth.
We need Christians to start voting the way the Bible instructs us. We cannot vote for someone who believes it is ok to murder babies. I wish Cynthia had one the congressional seat as Blaine (who I once supported) is pathetic. Just keep this going and it will help us learn. Having been involved in the political and legal systems for over 60 yrs, it has gone nothing but downhill. I blame it on the churches, failing in depth to teach God’s Words. Thanks for reading and the Lord Jesus’ blessing be upon all. Art LeBeau, Villa Ridge, MO (Christian & Conservative)
