Being Held Hostage
The Philippines is considered the only Christian nation in Asia. About 86% of the Philippines is Catholic and only 5% Muslim, yet the Philippines is suffering from frequent attacks on Christians and we’re hearing very little of it in the mainstream news. Islam has shown the world a level of evil that’s beyond anything imaginable.
These are not isolated moments of savagery. Nearly every day there are unthinkable atrocities that prove there are lower levels of Islamic horror and wickedness. Today’s story is about 19 girls that were burned alive. The Islamic sympathizers’ goal is to sabotage our way of life by dismantling our Constitutional protections.
Because we feel relatively safe, we are not concerned about being taken by Muslims forcibly and held against our will. Yet, those living in uncivilized countries live with this concern every day. The Koran encourages and condones raping women. At the bare minimum, all governments owe protection to its citizens.
This is one more reason why we must use every tool available to stand against any religious or political system that is violent and does not live within our rules of civility. We cannot dictate what happens in other countries, but we certainly can maintain our Constitutional standards here in our Country. The goal of Islam is world domination.
Recently, I was privileged to interview Gracia Burnham, a missionary who served in the Philippines. She and her husband went through a life-altering experience. While serving with New Tribes Missions, Martin and Gracia Burnham were taken hostage, along with others, by Muslim terrorists and held against their will for 377 days. On the day of their rescue, all the hostages were shot and Gracia was the only one to survive.
I have always had a tender spot in my heart for widows. The idea of a life-altering tragedy that fractures the relationship between a husband and wife is somber and permanent. Perhaps I feel this way because I have had the happiness of nearly 37 years with my husband and I’ve seen first hand how well God’s plan for the family works. Regardless of the cause, the devastation to a family is always tragic.
You will enjoy our show this week when you get to hear her share her thoughts. She also gives us an update on how she and the kids are doing now.
How would you handle it if the Muslim terrorists tried to take your family?

A LITTLE BIT OF HUMOR
She hurried to the pharmacy to get medication, got back to her car and found that she had locked her keys inside.
The woman found an old rusty coat hanger left on the ground. She looked at it and said, “I don’t know how to use this.”
She bowed her head and asked God to send her some HELP.
Within 5 minutes a beat-up old motorcycle pulled up, driven by a bearded man who was wearing an old biker skull rag.
He got off of his cycle and asked if he could help.
She said: “Yes, my daughter is sick. I’ve locked my keys in my car. I must get home. Please, can you use this hanger to unlock my car?”
He said, “Sure.”
” He walked over to the car, and in less than a minute the car was open.
She hugged the man and through tears said,
“Thank You, God, for sending me such a very nice man.”
The man heard her little prayer and replied,
“Lady, I am NOT a nice man. I just got out of prison yesterday; I was in prison for car theft.”
The woman hugged the man again, sobbing,
“Oh, thank you, God! You even sent me a Professional!”
Is GOD Great or what?

Though condemned to the pit of despair and removed from the Grace of God, Satan has established 2 evil religions with which to spread his hate and despair: Marxism and Islam. Unfortunately, the alleged Christian nations of the west, including our own, have embraced both, and as proven by their enabling the butchering of unborn babies they have also rejected God.
“And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are (of) the gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with his wrath? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just: that his justice cannot sleep for ever …” – Notes on the State of Virginia, Query XVIII: Manners – Thomas Jefferson (reflecting on slavery), 1781

It’s only me and the cat at home but I would like to think that I would have the strength and courage to resist terrorists and attempt to thwart their plot
to the best of my ability. Good for President Trump for withdrawing us from the Paris accord; he should withdraw us from the United Nations next. Money saved from membership in these worthless organizations could be used to fight the real threat of ISIS. We need a multi-national coalition/task force comprised of intelligence analyst and special forces operations charged with rooting out and eliminating ISIS terrorists. They are waging war against us and we need to start taking the offensive against them.
