• Enter the Ring – Fight for Your Marriage

    Play

Today we have two very special guests, D A and Elicia Horton.  They have been fighting for their marriage for over 15 years and share some insights from a millennial perspective on the challenges marriages face.

On our show today, you’ll learn how to fight the distractions and temptations of the world, instead of one another and what it takes to be victorious.

As more marriages dissolve, government spending on social welfare programs goes up.  When people can’t count on each other, they tend to look for governmental solutions to their problems.  By fighting to save your marriage, you’re doing more good than what is measured by your own personal happiness.

  • Riley Hood: Pro-Life Questions

    Play

Why do the anti-life folks win and our efforts stall out year after year after year?  On our show today we discuss some of the reasons and some ideas for what you can do to make a difference.

Today we have Riley Johnson Hood.  Riley is the former State Chairman of the Constitution Party of Wisconsin.  He now is the Milwaukee County Chairman and is a frequent contributor to conservative newspapers and to the public debate.

  • Why is Abortion Still Legal?

As my sign says, we need to stop the real war.

Why is abortion still legal? Modern medicine, current science and political surveys demonstrate that abortion is destroying a human being. More people than ever realize that unborn people deserve all the rights and protections afforded to any other human being. Yet, abortion on demand is still legal in our Country.

If all the political candidates were as pro-life as they claim, abortion would no longer be done. Instead of taking care of business, they pussyfoot around with token mutations. Years tick by and abortion is still legal.

Is an incremental approach a pacifier? NOTHING says ANTI-LIFE as much as taking an abortion provider – Planned Parenthood – that hadn’t been able to do abortions since 2015 and passing laws which now have created a scenario where they can start performing abortions again.

  • Brad Dacus – Southern Poverty Law Center

    Play

On today’s show, we explain the subversive efforts of the Southern Poverty Law Center. You’ll find out what they are doing to unravel our rights and smear good organizations. But more importantly, we share with you what you can do to fight back.

Today we interview the President and founder of the Pacific Justice Institute, Brad Dacus.  The Pacific Justice Institute has a network with hundreds of attorneys committed to defending our religious liberties and our Constitution.

  • Southern Poverty Law Center

Here is a picture of true wealth – four generations – all from intact families.  This week we welcomed my newest grandchild.  My children have done a fabulous job of keeping the score even — six grandsons and six granddaughters!

Real poverty happens when a culture becomes morally bankrupt.  There is nothing more unAmerican than to shame and shun people just because of holding patriotic philosophy.   In this case, the victims are Center-Right, Constitutional, Liberty-Leaning, or Christian groups.  Those who are carrying on the torch of freedom from those who bled and died so we could have these opportunities—A.K.A. the bedrock of our society!

The Southern Poverty Law Center is not about the South, poverty or laws.  It is focused on name-calling and has tarnished its own credibility by lurching to the left.

  • What Are You Doing for Life?

A few years ago I took some time to stand outside of the Columbia Abortion clinic with some wonderful saints.  Never underestimate the power of your presence at the epicenter.

It calls itself, Planned Parenthood, but it is diametrically opposed to parenthood.  This organization generates revenue from promiscuity and selling dead baby parts.  A lot of people know what they are doing is wrong, but are at a loss for finding the proper response.

Yet, there’s a lot that can be done.  Not everybody is cut out for the same work.  Some hold up signs, some talk to the pregnant moms or boyfriends, some pray.  Everybody can do something.  We are about moving heaven and earth for a greater purpose.

Don’t wait for the judges to get it right!

Many of us feel bad when we hear reports about the unborn being aborted, especially all the coercion going on in the abortion industry.  What can we do to make a difference?  With all the bad news we get every day, there are still lots of things we can do to make the world a better place.  That’s what you’ll hear about today.

Today we interview Kathy Forck, Co-Campaign Director for the 40 days for life in Columbia.

  • Perspective

This is a picture of me with my mom.

Looking forward is important and good.  However, to understand how we got here, it’s important to look back as well.  We can study genealogy, which allows us to discover facts about previous generations.  Yet, the legends and little-known secrets will vanish forever after this generation is gone.  The people we know between 80 and 100 years old are our last connection to the stories of courage, survival techniques, and faith that sustained them as well as the factors that contributed to making us who we are today.

The family has been under attack for decades.  The culture has changed so much just in our lifetime.  Previous generations seemed to do a better job of “holding the fort” together when they faced adversity.  How did they do it?

Today I interview my mother.  She provides some time-tested answers as she shares her secrets of creating a happy home.

  • Perspective from the Past

    Play

Some people use the words house and home interchangeably.  But they are very different.  What does it take to have a happy home?

There are some secrets and some principles that work every time.

On today’s edition of Home Front, I bring you nearly nine decades of wisdom from my own mom.

Marylin Gosh is a former first grade school teacher, a wife of over 65 years and comes to us today to share with us some of her insights on what it takes to have a happy home.

  • Transgendering Children?

This is a picture of us with six of our seven children.
L to R:  Ben, Matt, Cathryn, Philip, me, Bernie, Amanda and Susanna.

Legislators use magic words when they want a bill to pass: “It’s for the children!”.  Yet, what children need most is parents who will guide them in understanding and accepting their identity just as they are made.  If children are confused, the adults need to bring them back to reality, not enter into their delusion.

When the parents enable their children to take drugs that will permanently alter their brain development, leave them sterile and shut out the possibility of any return to normalcy, our society should draw the line.

The medical profession is duty-bound to “do no harm”, yet when the professionals use their knowledge to do harm (i.e. terminate lives of those unborn, disabled, elderly or condemn children to a lifetime of impersonation), the doctors have shamed their profession.
