Just
Filing One Bill Can Make
A Difference
Although the bill did not pass into law, many
schools liked the idea and voluntarily closed down on election day.
Cooperation on a good idea is always better than using the force of
law. Many ideas that come through the legislature can be
accomplished more expediently through local efforts without “big mother”
adding to the long list of rules. Thank
You! I appreciate all those who live in our district
who took the time to vote. While some of you saw your favorite
candidates win, others may have been disappointed. Let not your
heart be troubled. Every election has its surprises.
As for my own election, thank you for trusting in
me again to represent you in the Missouri House of Representatives. As I
head back to the Capitol, I will always keep your views and ideals in my
mind. It will be interesting to see what direction our
new Governor wants to take our state, but I can assure you that I will
never back away from the principles and ideals that made our country
great. To me, the message is clear...keep fighting for stronger
families, smaller government and lower taxes.
That’s just what I intend to
do. Your
thoughts are important to me, so please let me know what you think about
the election. You can send me your opinion by clicking
